I did a tour of the Catalina Casino in Avalon, CA on 1/10/2018. I've done the Casino Tour before but to me it is the highlight of any visit to Catalina Island, especially to a first time visitor. We purchased the tour through the cruise ship Carnival Inspiration for $19.99 each but you might be able to purchase it cheaper at the Casino itself.
